Born in England in 1885, Captain Malcolm Campbell began a family tradition of holding Land and Water record speeds which his son Donald Campbell carried on. This poster tells us that on the 19th February 1928 he broke the Land Speed record by attaining 206.95mph and shows him in his famous Irving-Napier car named ‘Blue Bird’ racing along Daytona Beach in Florida.
