RetroClassic® Mens Classic Race Car T-shirt featuring an Official 1975 Vauxhall Firenza V8 ˜Baby Bertha™ Official Gerry Marshall design.

We have partnered with motorsport legend Gerry Marshall to produce an official range of t-shirts celebrating some of his greatest victories and most significant results.

This design features Gerry™s favouring and most race winning Vauxhall Firenza, more affectionately known as Baby Bertha. Bertha was created by Bill Blydenstein and his team and designed for one thing only: to win the Super Saloon championship.

Although she was based around a Firenza, she was an out-and-out racer with a V8 Repco-Holden engine (these days, it™s a 5.7-litre Chevrolet engine, producing 530bhp), de Dion rear axle, trick inboard front suspension and spaceframe front and rear and with a 0-100mph time of 7.8 seconds.

Gerry Marshall was a British Motorsport Hero, starting racing in 1963 and competing up until his passing in 2005. He contested over 1,400 races, winning 625 and literally drove and won in anything and everything. He is sorely missed by the legions of fans that loved to watch his exuberant and flamboyant style on track and his escapades in the bars and clubhouses afterwards.
