RetroClassic® Mens Classic Race Car T-shirt featuring an Official British Racing Motors 1964 BRM P261 design.
We are excited to announce our official collaboration with British Racing Motors (BRM). With this new venture, we have developed an exclusive collection of T-shirts, featuring the iconic BRM logo and the amazing cars. BRM were World Champions in 1962 and raced over three decades by a host of driving legends. This collaboration will pay homage to BRMâ„¢s proud history, providing a stylish way to show your passion for motorsports and the iconic BRM brand.
This T-shirt features BRMâ„¢s distinctive blue and red logo, inspired by the traditional racing colour scheme and the proud British tradition of Britainâ„¢s first and original F1 Team and a design of BRM’s 1964, P261 race car.
1964Â BRM P261
The P261 was introduced in 1964 and powered by a BRM V8, 1.5-litre: 2 Valves/Cylinder, naturally aspirated, Lucas fuel injection engine developing 205BHP. The P261 had a relatively long racing career; variants of the car were still being entered for Formula One World Championship Grands Prix as late as 1968. During the course of their front-line career BRM P261s won six World Championship races, in the hands of works driverâ„¢s Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart and finished second in both the Driversâ„¢ and Constructorsâ„¢ Championship standings in 1964 and 1965.Not only was the P261 BRMâ„¢s most beautiful car, in terms of races won and total Championship points scored, the P261 was also the most successful car in BRMâ„¢s history.
